UpFront Engineering Simulation Limited (UESL) offers the following training opportunities: - 

1      UESL is approved by Blue Ridge Numerics to provide their standard CFdesign training courses which include: -

      a)   CFdesign Fundamentals Training:  This 2 day course provides an introduction to the main capabilities of CFdesign.  The layout of the User Interface is introduced along with the process of performing fluid flow and heat transfer simulations.  Time is left on the second day for users to bring along their own models to work through with the instructor.

      b)  CFdesign Motion Training:  This 1 day course introduces the CFdesign motion capability.  Familiarity with the fundamental usage of CFdesign is expected.

 

2       UpFront CFD training.  UESL is preparing a customisable training course to introduce engineers and managers to the benefits and pitfalls of Upfront CFD.  This course will contain a brief introduction to the theory behind CFD techniques but will mainly concentrate on examples to illustrate how to get the most out of this technology.   Issues such as validation techniques and the importance of simplification will be discussed.

3       Customised Training. UESL can take any of the standard CFdesign courses and customise them for a specific company’s needs.  This type of course is often provided in combination with the implementation services mentioned above.
