UpFront Engineering Simulation Ltd was formed in Oct 2007, by Mike Clapp as a consultancy services business and then in October 2010 a merger with 8020 Engineering (founded by CAE veterans Sean Horgan and Ake Burman) was completed. Now UpFront Engineering Simulation is a wholly owned subsidiary of 8020 Engineering, focusing exclusively on the use of ‘UpFront’ simulation technology.
Simerics-MP is a new ‘UpFront CFD’ tool ideal for applications found with the flow control industry. We can package this with SpaceClaim (simerics-spaceclaim) or as a stand-alone add-on to an existing design environment.
State-of-the-art ‘3D Direct modelling’ solutions, based on the application of SpaceClaim, for Conceptual Design, Bid Modelling and CAE model preparation are available.
We added CFturbo to our solution offerings as a turbo-machinery design tool that can also integrated with Simerics-MP.
New award winning design driven ‘in-CAD’ FEA software from NEi Nastran has further expanded our portfolio of product simulation solutions.
